Food Tripping (Cake Pops)

What are cake pops?

Cake pops are wonderful spheres of cake which are dipped in chocolate or icings and are placed on lollipop sticks.

How to make cake pops?

Ingredients:

Food coloring for the Icing or chocolate or whipped cream, or anything that you'll use

Cake, or left over cakes or cupcakes and then crush it

Frosting, vanilla or chocolate, your choice

Icing, whipped cream or white chocolate or anything you want (we used white chocolate)

Directions:

1. Crush the cake with all your power

2. Add the frosting and mix until you make a dough

3. Mold the dough unto small balls or you may use an ice cream scooper for this

4. Freeze it for 15 minutes

5. Get it from the freezer and dip the lollipop sticks first to the frosting before sticking it to the balls

6. Freeze it again for another 15 minutes

7. Then enjoy designing it :) with melted chocolate, cereals, peanuts, or anything you like :)

8. Freeze it again AND

9. Feed thy hungry stomach :)

Food Coloring

Vanilla Frosting

Crushed Cupcakes (Mocha Flavor )

White Chocolate

Mold it into balls

Freeze it for 15 minutes

Stick the lollipop stick to the balls

Ready the Icing

And some yummy additions

Sprinkle!

Freeze it again

Pose!

And Capture! :) ENJOY ;)


When we tasted this, it's too sweet....so its a FAIL

Awesome Dots

 Note: This post should have been posted last week but then I took an arrow in the knee. Just kidding but the true story is that, I can't access my account. Haha XD

I am a very a big fan of 9gag and so when I saw this post of an artist making an art piece with just dots... I said to myself, I can do that.. "Challenge Accepted" and this was the result.

Pancake Mix

Cooking Oil

Oreo (should be Oreo minis)

Heat oil in medium heat

Dip Oreo into pancake mix

Then fry

Turn it

Then fry another one until...

Light brown in color

Serve and ENJOY ;)

Our Stinky Little Guard Dog (KC)

This is KC, our stinky little guard dog.

He is 5 years old in human years and 35 in dog years.

He is a Shih Tzu Princess.

He is really a FAT DOG. (too pampered)

He loves catching mice and cats.

But most of the time, the cat catches and scares him.

 

He is the only pet I have left from my trio.

My first dog is Lucky, and he died 3 years ago due to heart worm. He is a mongrel (askal), but he is the smartest and most affectionate among the trio. And very very loyal.

My other dog is Odie, and he just died recently, also due to heart worm. He is a german sheperd, the bravest and sweetest dog I've ever had  although he had bitten me twice.

KC, is very different from the other 2 dogs I have. From the very start, when he was still a puppy, I don't like him because he is lap dog.

But I still love him, I still take care of him because my older sister (the real owner of KC) sometimes neglect him. And the three are very close to each other. I love them so much... (enough with the emotions)

 

Anyways, KC joined his first contest and he lost. HAHA. But he is still the cutest for me :)

Have you ever seen a pure white Shih Tzu?

Nope! Only KC is a pure white Shih Tzu and have the perfect eyes compared to other Shih Tzus who have those "duling" or "banlag" eyes. ;)

But he is still super stinky. Even after you give him a bath, he would do everything to be stinky again...

 

So since, I'm about to cry because I'm missing my other dogs and because KC is not the same since Odie had died... Ok... I'm gonna stop now...

Coffee Painting 101

One night, I was watching the news and saw this clip of a girl being awarded for her painting that is made with coffee. I was amazed with the painting, really amazed. So the next morning, I tried painting using coffee...

 

 And I was so amazed with the results, even though my first try was unpleasing to the eyes. 

 

The next painting I made with coffee was an abstract painting of an Ox. To be honest, it was not my intention to paint the ox. I wasn't even thinking of an ox or any other animals that time, it just came right off from nowhere. But sadly, that painting of mine was... :'( during the "Ondoy."

So after some months, I started painting again with coffee. And this was the result

I bought this notebook in NBS last July, 2011, I think, I really can't remember.

I was actually forced to buy it for my organization, I need a separate notebook for them.

I fell in love with this notebook, cause of the design and it is recycled. I am really into recycled things. Seriously! Cause I  have this thought, that in this way I can help protect our Mother Nature. And brown is one of my favorite colors. ;)

Anyways...

Due to boredom, I started scribbling things in it thus making it my new sketchpad or book or I think notebook? I'll just call it sketchboo. And so I tried to design clothes, build my dream houses and sketch whatever I want in this notebook. But then something is still missing. I miss painting so badly. :'( *sniff sniff* But I don't have anything to use for painting, I don't have paints and brushes anymore!!! *cry*

So I looked for something that I could splash onto my sketchpad. 

Found a makeup kit and took the leg makeups since it is rarely being used. And this was the end result.
